Prayers for Sabrina McColl, The sick Young Girl!

Thursday Flash Fiction Week 28: Innocence and Dreams

Let's pray for Sabrina McColl,
She is supposed to carry innocence,
dream big and fly high,
but we don't know why,
She has sickness, and she needs help,
what we can do is to pray for a cure,
hopefully, someone will lend her a hand or two
to enable her to get well,
Keep hope alive,
Stick to your doctor's guide,
you can survive,
and you can win!
Angels sing for your young face,
Please remain calm, obtain grace!

Paired Things In Symmetry (By Kay Ryan)

Who, who has only seen wings
could extrapolate the
skinny sticks of things
birds use for land,
The backward way they bend,
the silly way they stand?
And who, only studying
bird tracks in the sand,
could think those little forks
had decamped on the wind?
So many paired things seen odd,
who could have dreamed
the broad winged raven of despair
would quit the air and go
bandylegged upon the ground.
a common crow?
